AdBrite Blog

First blog entry, new stuff, and more

Okay, being the first-ever AdBrite Blog entry, this one is kinda long. In the future I’ll keep em down to just a few sentences.

Why an AdBrite blog? AdBrite has been progressing quickly so I created this blog to let everyone know what’s new, as things happen. In addition to AdBrite news, I plan to answer general questions about online advertising, along with useful tips & info for publishers and advertisers.

If you have questions, comments, or anything else you’d like me to address here, email me directly at blog@adbrite.com. For AdBrite customer service, click here.

Now the update. Lots of new things:

  1. New homepage design launched today - The layout is mostly the same as the previous version, but more cleaned up and solid. Still, we’re keeping with the look & feel described by our designer as “Yahoo-ugly” (Yahugly?). (no offense to Yahoo of course. I think you’re pretty.)

    AdBrite, a retrospective:

    2001

    2002

    aka “Colorblind”

    2003

    aka “Creepy Eye”

    2004

    aka “The Paypal”

  2. Ad Packages - Look on the upper-left of the AdBrite homepage. We’ve been hearing from some advertisers that you’re overwhelmed with the number of advertising opportunities on AdBrite. I hope these pre-selected, high-performing ad packages make your life easier. If you’re an advertiser and there’s a particular package idea you’d like us to put together, let us know.
  3. Autopricing - If you’re an AdBrite publisher and you’re not sure how much to charge advertisers, let us set your pricing automatically. Your prices will rise and fall based on demand for your advertising space. To enable Autopricing, click here and select Manage Products.

I think that’s it for now. I’ll be updating this regularly so check often and sign up to receive updates via email (form on the upper-left of this page).

Rock on,

Pud
